I've added some new features in the past few weeks. I also have a regular job (working for CoSo Cloud), so this is something that I do as time allows.
Here's the big stuff:
Activity feeds are back! For now they include only blog posts (like this one) and micro-blog posts. You'll see them on the DTL home page, on your profile (where you'll see a feed of things you're following), and on your content library (where you'll see your own feed, which is what *other* users will see when they see your profile).
It's confusing to describe, but should be straightforward in practice. Or so I hope ;-)
The activity feeds really highlight how active Ryan has been, and provide a welcome kick in the pants for me to start posting more!
Colleague profile pages
Every colleague-pair gets a colleague profile page. The page includes a micro-blog that you can use to update one another. By default the micro-blog is public (you can change that if you wish), but you can now tag any post as "for your eyes only", in which case only you and your colleague will be able to see it.
The colleague page also includes an activity feed that lists just things that you and your colleague have been working on together.
The overall goal is to have a colleague profile page that people can link to and that shows what you've been working on together.
The emails coming from DTL are now in HTML format. Thanks for Litmus for some great templates, these emails should look good on all devices.
More coming soon, particularly in the area of colleague collaboration.
