a quick dip

POSTED IN: Building a backyard trout pond

Went for a quick dip in the rain-water filled hole for the pond.  The water is about 42 degrees (I measured it) -- it was chilly! The recent rains had put about 4 1/2 feet of water in the hole.

They're going to drain it tomorrow as they move forward with the work.  Today they were setting boulders to hold back the new slope above the pond.  They are making great progress!
