We are very sorry to say that Dream to Learn will be shutting down as of December 28th, 2019. If you have content that you wish to keep, you should make a copy of it before that date.

this year's trees and shrubs

POSTED IN: An edible garden

The trees are just starting to bud and to leaf out.  In another week, it's going to be time to get the mason bees out of the fridge!

For this year, the new trees and shrubs we are adding include:

  • Two peach trees (Frost and Oregon Curl Free -- the humidity is a problem here!)
  • 4 elderberries (York and Nova)
  • 4 Gooseberries (Black Velvet and Red George)
  • Quince (Mellow)
  • Azerole (Angela Rosso )
  • A pomegranate (Wonderful)
  • 2 JuJubes (Massandra and Li)
  • 2 Goumis (Red Gem and Sweet Scarlet)
  • Hybrid Silverberry
  • Another hardy kiwi (Chang Bai) to replace the one that I accidentally killed last year
