Week 8 Just a few notes for myself

I worked on two of my paternal grandma recipes : Ravioli with ricotta and lemon zest and Ricotta crostata. There was definitely a lot of ricotta involved this week :)

The Ravioli were delicious as usual but I tend to be a messy cook and not very disciplinated when I have to write ratios and measuraments. So I need to go through the recipe again and take better notes.

Ricotta crostata was so good that I ate half of it. Not good for a lactose intolerant like me. Despite the bloating, it was worth it.

Farro and chickpea soup with mushrooms : I loved it.

Cannellini beans all'uccelletto : this recipe was supposed to be loved by every member of the family, kids included, but I put too much salt so it wasn't edible. And I forgot to take pictures so I'll remake another time.

Risotto with Butternut Squash : I'm doing my own recipe, so I need to test it more before put it on the blog.

This journey into cooking is making me think a lot about my past. I don't know if I'll find the answers to my personal questions but It's worth to keep looking... and cooking.
